This 21- year old, 4’1″, 145lb woman struggled with back and shoulder discomfort due to the size of her 36DD breasts. She came in for a consultation with her mother to meet with Connecticut plastic surgeon, Dr. Ellen Mahony. The mom had been doing research on female plastic surgeons and read about Dr. Mahony at a Woman in Power Event.

When the patient and her came in for their initial consultation they had questions and concerns about scaring and the recovery process. Dr. Mahony explained in detail about the surgery process and what results they could expect. After they felt educated and well informed, the patient had decided to move ahead with breast reduction surgery.

After the surgery the patient was happy to have no more back and shoulder discomfort at a C cup and feels more self confident about her appearance.
