Corrective Breast Surgery
Procedure: Removal of implants, capsulectomy, breast lift
This 45 year old (5’8’’, 160 lbs, G2P2) woman had a previous breast augmentation and breast lift.
She was disappointed that her breasts (36DD) seemed to overwhelm her figure and forced her to buy tops that were far larger than the rest of her body. The whole idea of revising her surgery was overwhelming but she had a long life ahead of her. In addition, she was on the fence about committing to more permanent scars, more scar tissue build up and once again not getting the results she wanted.
Luckily, a good friend of hers recommended Dr. Mahony. She encouraged our lady that getting better informed by a woman plastic surgeon, in particular, would give her a new perspective on how to move forward.
She and Dr. Mahony met a few times to sort out the pros and cons of all options. She made an informed decision to have both of the implants removed, along with some of the scar tissue that had formed around the implants, and then a revision of the previous breast lift. She felt confident that Dr. Mahony would give her the results she wanted so she booked the surgery after her second consultation.
The photos above were taken three months (36 C/D) after her surgery and this mom is very pleased with her results. Even though this was one of the more difficult decisions to make, she is glad she found Dr. Mahony and went through with the surgery. She feels more confident, both in and out of her clothing, and her self –esteem is through the roof!
