Umbilicoplasty
There was a time when this patient refused to wear anything that showed her midriff. Even though she was fit and her body was bikini material, she was very self conscious about what she felt was an unattractive looking belly button. This was something that had bothered her since she was a young girl. At 26 years old she was finally going to do something about it.
When she booked the consultation, in a way, she felt like she already knew Dr. Mahony. She had spent a significant amount of time reading the large number of online reviews about Dr. Mahony and her practice. The recurring theme she learned was that Dr. Mahony was a competent and attentive surgeon, her practice was professional and her staff was kind. She was not disappointed when she came for a consultation as this was exactly what she experienced.
Dr. Mahony explained that a simple in office procedure called an umbilicoplasty would achieve her goals of making her belly button look less prominent. She also spent time describing the technical aspects of the procedure and the recovery process. The patient was so excited that there was a solution to her issue that she decided to have the surgery with Dr. Mahony right away.
