Breast Augmentation
This 26 year old has always been flat chested and dreamed of having larger breasts. She didn’t like the fit of her clothes or swimsuits. After talking with some friends, she was able to get an excellent referral to Dr. Mahony from a friend of hers who had a breast augmentation with her 2 years prior.
This patient is a petite woman at 5’3”, 125 pounds. Many of our patients are of a similar body type and are looking to add some curves to their narrow silhouette.
After calling the office, she was seen in the office for a consultation with Dr. Mahony. Even though this is something she has always dreamed of, she was still anxious about undergoing a surgical procedure. Dr. Mahony was able to put her mind at ease after going over the procedure in great detail, helping her decide on the right size implant for her by trying on various sizers, and answering all of her questions.
After the consultation, the patient and Dr. Mahony decided that at 240cc Breast augmentation would be a perfect fit for her. She then discussed this with friends who urged her to go bigger! She was unsure, so she was welcomed back to Dr. Mahony’s office to try sizers on again. This was very much appreciated by the patient as it gave her the confidence and ability to confirm her original decision of 240cc implants. Because this is a saline implant, Dr. Mahony was able to fill the implant to 260cc in the operating room to give this patient the fullness she was looking for without going to a bigger implant.
Now 3 months after her surgery, she is thrilled with her new look! She went from a 32A to a 34B and now fills out clothes and swim suits how she always wished she could!
