Grace’s Road to Perfection

Grace, a 30-year-old Mental Health Therapist, has always been aware of her petite frame.  She has worked on her confidence and loving herself but continued to feel insecure about her flat chest.  She made the decision to make a lifelong dream of having larger breasts a reality: “a 30^th birthday present to myself”.   She did initially begin her search online on ASPS, Real Self and Facebook groups.  Dr Mahony came up as one of the top-rated female surgeons in the state of Connecticut.  She then began talking to her friends wondering if they had plastic surgery experience.  “One of my best friend’s is a PA and mentioned working with Dr Mahony during her rounds at PA school, stating she was amazing to work with and she was the person to go to in CT”.

Dr Mahony’s staff was amazing throughout the whole process.  “Every time I called, no matter how many times I called, they were there with words of validation and kindness for me.  These amazing women were basically wiping my tears, dusting me off and helping me where I needed to be whenever I had a moment of weakness in the process.”

Her experience at the surgery center was also top notch.   “I entered in to an OR full of beautiful, smiling women, with such a loving and warm welcoming environment.  Music was playing in the background and before I knew it, I was waking up in recovery!”

I was finally able to see the “new girls” at my appointment the next day and when I tell you, immediate tears of happiness flooded me.  30 years I had felt so insecure about my chest and then seeing them look so perfect just 24 hours after surgery was an overwhelming joy”.  Now, for the first time in her life, she sees herself in the mirror and is over the moon with happiness.  She has the added volume she wanted, and her clothes fit and feel amazing.   Her posture has even changed as she has more confidence.  “I cannot wait to go to the beach, wear different outfits and step out of my comfort zone”.
